FAQs

If you’re coming through NDIS you don’t need to pay anything out of pocket. We will need your NDIS plan, and we will fill out a service agreement together before commencing treatment.

If you are a private paying client who needs emergency treatment, you can pre-pay through your credit card over the phone, OR we accept bank transfers. Our admin team will email you a receipt, and you can use that to make a claim with your private health insurer. All payments will need to be made before the appointment.

Our main intention for starting this service was to serve clients within the community under NDIS. However, if you are a private client who is unable to attend the clinic for treatment, we’re happy to treat you from the comfort of your home.

We’re using the NDIS rates as a guideline which is $200 per hour. This includes travel and 30-40 minutes of treatment.

As mentioned above, you will get a tax invoice receipt for your sessions so you can make claims to your private health insurer or medicare if you are eligible.

Yes, we sure can. This will cost an extra $75 for a 30 minute treatment for each person.

*Please note we come out for private patients in emergency cases only where they are physically unable to come to the clinic.

The therapist that will come to your home will have all the equipment necessary to treat you. They will have all the equipment you can find at a physiotherapy clinic and more. For example, they will bring our treatment table, towels, heat packs, oils, creams, tapes, resistance bands, electrotherapy machines, acupuncture needles, dry cups, massage tools and more.

A mobile practitioner can treat musculoskeletal, neurological and mobility conditions. Some examples of these include:

Musculoskeletal: Headaches, shoulder, mid-back, lower back, hip, knee, ankle, foot, elbow and wrist pains.
Neurological: Parkinson’s, Multiples sclerosis, stroke, cerebral palsy, developmental conditions.
Mobility: Functional training, balance training, strength training, aerobic training.

Diet Related: Overweight or underweight, have swallowing difficulties, diabetes, heart disease, gastrointestinal intolerances and IBS, picky eating, are on texture modified diets (e.g. thickened fluids or soft foods)
