Outside of work, Janet enjoys spending family time with her husband, son and daughter, as well as with her extended families. She is always encouraging a healthy physical lifestyle around home, where you’ll find her children copying her Pilates poses throughout the day.

60 seconds With Janet!

I enjoy sipping on a good mocha or vanilla latte planning out another event (for my kids and family) or home renovation.

Shopping and perfectly styling outfits together (from head to toe!)… with a good chocolate mocha in my hand.

Running after my kids haha… plus a good matwork pilates session, plus I’ve recently grown a strong interest in ice skating.

I was high school captain and my name was mentioned in NSW Parliament for my leadership efforts.

I chose Physiotherapy to help better educate people about their bodies and take charge of change.
Once during a visit to one of the Mums on the ward (on my placement during final year uni), I suddenly found I had a crowd of about 15 midwives stand around to watch and learn how to assess and educate Mums on early postpartum abdominal separation. I felt like I was not only empowering the new Mum, but other health professionals, which meant a lot to me especially as a student I knew I’d fallen into the right profession.

There is so much to love! From the fun and caring work dynamic, to the multidisciplinary support from each team member – it’s always a treat coming into work.
